Ways To Help
Food security is an integral part of what it means to thrive in our communities. With the delay in SNAP benefits, and the increasing threat of kidnapping to our immigrant neighbors by ICE, thousands of people across East Portland are facing food insecurity. The best way to help is to donate funds directly to local community food programs, free fridges and pantries. A number of which can be found below.
Food Security Community Resources
Many resources listed here can already be found on our “Resources” page, but due to the increasing need across East Portland, we felt it necessary to compile them in a clear, concise list. Some of these links go to other, more extensive lists, created by other community groups and members, while some go directly to the source.
